For years the Wisconsin Dells has been known to travelers as a
summer getaway for fun in the sun while enjoying some of the
nations best water rides. Now the excitement doesn't have to end
when Labor Day comes around.
The Wisconsin Dells now hosts a variety of Indoor Water parks
that are a great alternative for winter vacations. One such
resort is the new Great Wolf Lodge. For a while I've watched it
being built on my travels up north on I90/94 and this past
Christmas got to experience it first ...

"fine dining".
If you are sailing a ship with all the elegant evenings, this
takes special forethought on your part. Even though they say
that its two formal evenings, three informal and two
casual........you are sitting in such elegant surroundings and
eating a wonderful 5 course meal...........you may want to look
your best ! Consider that this will be like a ...

[shudder]. No really, a little EQ - managing the attitude, and
using the ole noggin' can make it almost pleasant!

Today, Wednesday, January 12, 2005, I visited the Clinton
Library. It's not my favorite architecture, glass and steel, but
it's nice, and it works with the site and the message that it
gives. In fact I had a wonderful, informative, even inspired
experience.
I went with a good friend, Craig. We met in the lobby. He showed
me the Cabinet Room replica, and then we ran to catch the next
viewing of the 20 minute introductory film about Clinton, his
presidency, and the library/museum.
The film was ...

While we were in Mazatlan, we took a Copala and city tour with
Mazatlan Frank. We looked forward to it very much because Frank
was highly recommended. He picked us up in the morning and
headed off to Copala. Copala is a delightful little village
about 40 miles from Mazatlan on the mountains, which was once a
thriving mining town. During the ride, Frank kept us entertained
with the history of Mazatlan, pointing out roadside interests,
and best of all, his wonderful sense of humor. ...

Traveling is expensive; there is little doubt about that. It does take a significant amount of money whether you are traveling to the next state, the next country, or across the world. One of the most expensive parts of any trip is the airline tickets and with the way the price of oil has been going up it is only going to get worse. The wise traveler knows that in these expensive times finding hidden airfare bargains can mean extra money in their pocket.Finding those airline ticket savings can ...

Mazatlán History Mazatlán (which means 'land of the deer') for
the herds that once migrated along the beautiful countryside.
'Old' Mazatlán, the traditional town center, dates from the 19th
century. Tourists started coming in the 1930s, mainly for
fishing and hunting, and some hotels began to appear along the
Playa Olas Altas, Mazatlán's first tourist beach, in the 1950s
and that's when Mazatlan became know as the 'Mexican Riviera'.
The town continued to grow steadily through the 1960s. ...
